My top 5 beauty products from Caudalie

A couple years ago I discovered Caudalie while shopping at Anthropologie in New York City. The first thing that caught my eyes was the simplicity of the brand. Plus the obvious French allure, which all French beauty products seem to have. Some may say that je ne sais quoi. As I browsed the shelves, I discovered an abundance of products–I was overwhelmed. There were so many I wanted to try, but I didn’t know where to begin. I sprayed the Beauty Elixir and was pleasantly surprised by all the different aromas that filled the air. It was if I walked through a field of rosemary, peppermint, mint, and then stumbled upon a vineyard–it was serenity. I was immediately captivated and desired everything. Particularly, I was captivated by the naturalness of the ingredients, especially discovering that it was parabens free, vegan, gluten-free, non-toxic, and safe for sensitive skin. Did I mention that all of the products contain grape water or grape seeds? I bought the Vinosource Moisturizing Sorbet Cream, which retails for $39.00.

A month later, I traveled to Paris, France to visit my boyfriend. To my surprise we found a Caudalie boutique on Rue des Abbesses. We went inside and could not believe the prices. The price of the products were almost ⅓ of the retail price in the USA, so let’s just say I didn’t leave empty-handed. Also, one of the perks of shopping in Europe as a non-EU resident is that you are able to claim your VAT taxes at the airport upon departure.

If you are new to Caudalie, here at my top 5 favorites to add to your beauty regimen.

1. Instant Foaming Cleanser $42.00

I bought the duo pack because I wear a lot make-up and need a gentle product to remove it. It’s my go to cleanser! A single bottle retails for $28.00.

2. Moisturizing Mask $39.00

I hate buying facemasks because sometimes they tend to leave my skin super dry, however, this mask does exactly what it advertises and that is moisturize. It also doubles as a sleeping mask. Once a week, I apply the moisturizing mask at night and I always notice a difference. My skin is soft and glowy–double whammy.

3. Vinoperfect–Brightening Essence $42.00

I wasn’t a big believer in toners until I tried the Brightening essence. To be completely honest, it does take some time to notice the difference, around 3 months. But after applying it, my skin feels so much smoother. I use a round cotton pad from the Body Shop to apply the toner.

4. Vinoperfect–Radiance Serum $79.00

This is my second favorite product by Caudalie! The Radiance Serum is life changing. I use the serum after applying the Brightening Essence. I love the creamy texture and non-oily composition!

5. Beauty Elixir $49.00

At last, Caudalie’s Beauty Elixir which has all of their signature ingredients. The Beauty Elixir is filled with essential oils, woody herbs, and citrus–it’s wonderful! I love to spritz my face with the elixir because it is very refreshing. I use it as a setting spray or as a toner if I don’t use the essence.

Happy shopping <3!
